In the grounds of a Regency Cottage in the historic Hertfordshire village of Essendon, 'the treehouse' is so called as it is set amongst some mighty oaks.  The first floor self-catering accommodation is reached by an oak staircase and is above an English Heritage oak framed garage barn. Ideally suited for two but can accommodate 4.

The conversion was completed at the beginning of 2014. Interior decor is mostly white, with accent colours of grey, lime green, caramel and blue.

There is a very calming atmosphere in the treehouse, which is light and airy and overlooks open woodland.

The bedroom has a queensize bed with crisp white linen.  A modern bright bathroom, extra large towelling robes slipper socks and fluffy towels.  A fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, induction hob and large refrigerator with ice box and Nespresso coffee machine with pods. The L-shaped sofa easily converts into a double bed should this be needed.

Allocated parking and outside space for guests to use amid the trees.

A welcome basket will be waiting for you on your arrival with continental breakfast supplies and most things to help start off your stay.
